    Default The Fishermen on Port Phillip Bay

    Hi all,

    Taken on the weekend on Port Phillip Bay, Victoria. This is sunrise at the begining of a 41 degree Celsius day (about 106F)!

    Canon 20D, 100-400mm L IS @ 400mm, ISO 100, 1/125 sec, f/5.6, AV at 0, handheld
    Photoshop - slight crop, sh-h, levelled horizon, levels, curves, saturation, slight USM.

    Sweet sky! The boat is a nice addition and give the feeling of isolation. I think it might be stronger if the top of the boat wasn't so close to the horizon line and was more separated.

    Dean,

    Sweet looking light and the boat is a nice balance to the sun. Though not having the horizon bisectiing the boat would have been nice.. well you can only hope for next time. This time, you captured the moment well.

    Thanks for the comments guys...much appreciated. I wish I could have moved the boat, but they couldn't quite hear me;).
