    Jan, very nice. Great color, BG, light and sharpness. I like the shallow DOF as well. good enough to get perch, feet, breast and the bill tip sharp. Terrific stuff.

    I feel it a bit tight at the top. If you do those sort of things, then some eye-doctoring will improve it a lot. Way too many catchlights, I think.

    Hi Jan, Lovely image with nice colours and exposure on those reds which are allways tricky. Agree with Kaustubh on the eye and would have liked slightly more of a head turn.

    A nice clean image with an appealing pose and smooth BG. I would prefer to see a nicer more interesting perch, if this was a setup at all.
