    Default Shuttle Launchpad Ornament

Not exactly sure how I got to this image, but just started doodling...Bg needs something but this is all I had time for for now.

General methods: glass distortion filter, spherize, stroke-gaussian blur trick, elliptical marquee tool and gaussian blur for shadow, flips, opacity and transforms...

Michael, I love it! The shape is great and the "glass" look turned out wonderful. I agree that the BG could use something. Nice ornament!!:)

Nice! The reflection is especially excellent. I like the bg as it is. Well done.

That sure is OOTB thinking....I never would have thought to use the space shuttle as part of a Christmas ornament but it works here!

    Denise, Anita, Paul, Ken,

Thank you all very much for your comments.

Ken, it is kinda funny about the shuttle... I was just poking around my photos looking for something tall to try out some of the techniques on - I was originally thinking of a bubble around it. But one thing lead to another and there you have it.

    Cheers,

Nicely done Michael. Love the glass look to the ornament, the reflection and the shadow.
