    Default White-faced Ibis

One of flock of 500+ fast moving White Faced Ibis looking for mice and other prey in this freshly mowed field ~100 feet below sea level (Imperial Valley area near Calipatra). Hard to isolate a single individual; while a slightly better HA was wished for, they ignored me entirely.

I like the overall contrast in the image, dark subject against a bright background. The background is also pretty clear of distracting elements. The head looks like it could use some more aggressive localized sharpening (looks just a little soft to me).

Don, Nice walking pose . I agree with Aravind regarding the sharpening. I do wish the bird were angled a bit more towards us. The Bg is lovely and adds to the image.:)

Nice Capture I like the walking pose, these birds always seem to look bigger than they are.
