An image from this past summer. I was enjoying the sunset from the deck when my son picked up a fishing rod...at first unaware of my presence above him. The photo pretty much sums up the feeling of peace and solitude one can get at the end of the day at the lake. Man, that kit lens is so under rated!!

    Canon 40D + 18-55mm lens at 18mm, aperture priority, evaluative metering, 1/160s., f/7.1, ISO 800, +1 EC. FF.

Great mood and feel to this one Daniel.:) The boat adds nicely to the image.

This has a very pleasant & peaceful feel to it. I like the framing created by the 2 trees & how the fishing rod, the dock angle & the boat all point & lead the eye into the distance. Neat pic Daniel.

If that's not a memory maker I don't know what is! Such a beautiful image, Daniel...one I'm sure you'll both always treasure.
