    Default Fractalius Web

Playing around with a few images in between shoveling driveway - another foot of snow in 2 hours. Yikes, we've had more snow in the last week than we had all last year - came up with a fract of a dewy spider web.

    Look forward to comments.

Great subject and BG, Andrew. The web has an almost metallic glow with the frac effect. I really like the way you composed and isolated this image and the symmetry. Well done. :)

Andrew, Very cool web. The fract added some interest. I can't help but wish for a spider in the corner:) I love the graphic look to this and the B&W adds to that.

This is wicked Andrew! It seems very simple at first glance, but the longer I look at it the more detail I see. Very nice work, I like it a lot! I would be tempted to "kick it up a notch" with Fractalius for a different look.

I like the captured image...I've never really gotten an image, I like of a web....this one is very symetrical and frac gives it some spark...TFS

I like this! The original photo is so nicely composed and flat to the plane of the sensor making all of the web so nicely sharp. And the treatment added more definition and contrast. Very cool.

    Hey Andrew,
Very cool effect on the web!!! Don't laugh.....but I did a browser crop to just below the first ring.......don't know why but that just works better for me.......maybe I need some detox from that tool:o! Overall.....very nice thought process and cool effect!

Thanks very much for all the comments, very much appreciated!

Roman, sorry, but you made me laugh! :D Actually the extra space in the LR and LF corners bugs me a bit. I'll have to ask the spider to be more careful next time with it's designs.:)

I like the graphic black and white colors, the fract effect, and it's a great-looking web to start with.
