    Default Kori Bustard 2

Another image of this large bird. This one was walking towards us looking for food.

A cool head on capture, nicely done...If it were mine IMO, might darken it just a bit, and try to recover some of the undertail.....I can only hope I see one of these someday...they look cool

The red eyes standout. I don't really care for the headon shot because I cannot see any of the face. Since this is an unusual bird I would to see a profile of the bird to see what the beak looks like.

Hi Lorant, I like how the BG compliments the subject and I also like the head on capture but I think it would be stronger if the right eye was not in shadow.

Neat pose - this guy has attitude, and I like the vertical comp. To my eyes the face does not seem to be the sharpest part of the image therefore some additional sharpening there may prove beneficial. you could also tone down the light arc crossing behind the neck. The angle looks nice and low despite taken from a vehicle.

    Lorant,

Head on of these birds is always difficult to capture, but looks stranger than most images you see.

It looks a bit bright to me.

    Scott,
