Nothing special here . I wish it had a fanned tail or moody sky. But it is the only shot of a Harrier I got during my trip. Almost FF I trimmed up the edges.

Pretty sweet for a "Nothing Special" :-). I'd love to have a nice FF image of this bird in a nice pose with spread wings. I like the colors and the light that nicely shows even the legs. Well done.

If this is nothing special..would love to see what is...lolol...the face of this bird is spot on in focus, nice under details and no harshness due to light...a sweet capture..TFS

Hi Denise, I also would love to have this image in my files Harriers are one of the few birds that did not get the memo that while in Florida they should let photographers within shooting distance:)

Cool! I know what you mean in your self assessment of the image, but like the others I'd love to have this in my files. I wouldn't mind seeing the subject a bit lower in the frame.

    Don...funny!!

Nothing special eh! Looks pretty darn good to me. These guys hunt in the field behind my home throughout much of the summer, but never once have they come in this close. I'm gonna try the owl decoy thingy this coming summer. :)

I thought that I recognized that bird. As above, well done. A crop from the bottom for me.

Denise, 'nothing special' works for me, and I like the eye contact and wingspread. Well captured.

Denise, very nice. Underwing looks great...that is always the hard thing in against-the-sky shots. I like the crop as-is....goes well with the head turn, I think.
