    This is a male Montagus Harrier with a dragonfly hunt, this moment captured here is just when the harrier caught the DF.

    spec: 1/4000, F 5.6, ISO 800

    MK4+500mm+1.4TC

    Very nice. Loved the habitat and both eyes seen is terrific. You must be very happy you upgraded to 1D. This wud have been an AF nightmare with your 40D.

    Didn't know Harriers caught dragonflies...learn something new every day...nice eyes and focus, colors and background is nice...well done

    Intense concentration from the harrier, and very well timed to have captured this. The harrier is also separated from the grass nicely.
