Light wasnt very good so I had to do some PP on this one. curves to lighten the BG, selective lightening of the eye, extra round of sharpening on the bill as its too long to accomodate within DOF.

    All C&C welcome.

Nice head on pose. As Kiran says the wave adds nicely. You did a great job w/ the bill and bringing out some color.

I like the background, not too distracting and not too plain either. As others have mentioned, great job on the bill.

I love the perfectly straight-on stare! Great low angle again, and good job on the PP. Maybe just a tad blue...

Hey KD. Love the stare and the soft light, and the wave. Try this: use the ruler tool to drag a line through the center of the two pupils. Then Image/Rotate/Arbitrary. Looks like about .25 degree CCW might be needed... Really :).

And yes to Dan, reducing the Blue & Cyan SAT might work well.

    KD,

This is a fabulous shot with a totally unique look, really sharp and whimsical. I love it. Some of the good comments above will make it even better. Soaked bill is very cool on this one and I love the eyes.

Thx folks. I will have to work on the cast. This kind of light always give me some issues.

Kaus, I like the head on stare, and a perfect perspective too. The eyes stand out nicely, and agree to desat the blues a tad. The bill has a cool 3D effect.
