Had a great day Sunday. Both Eagles were cooperative.

Good work in what looks to be some pretty strong light. Excellent details on the blacks without blowing the whites. Your ISO 1600 is simply not a problem with the D3S.

Fantastic capture of a great interaction. I somehow feel that the dynamic of the image suggesting that the landing eagle came from the right would benefit from more space on the left. Still at Bosque?

JR, no, I have been back since last Tues and been photographing Eagles.
I will check out more room from the left...not sure how that would look with having the eagle on the left.

Great pose, I have a few similar of Fish Eagles, but none as good.

Never having seen a Bald Eagle I was just wondering whether the feathers are normally this brown?

Great capture Troy. The colors look accurate to me and I love the light. Nice underwing detail on the landing Eagle. Is the female the one that is landing? Just a curiosity question.

Ken, it is coming from the golden light, making it more brown.

Duane, yes, female is the one landing. She is a lot bigger than him...

Great action, Troy; and sharply captured. I like the ha and eye contact on both birds, and the detail in the underwing. Color looks ok to me.
