    Default African Darter Incoming!

The light just rocked at our local duck pond tonight. This was taken in the very last of sunset light, hence the high ISO.

An African Darter comes in for a landing as an African Sacred Ibis watches nervously.

    Techs:
    Canon 7D with 100-400mm L IS USM @ 400mm
    f7.1 @ 1/640 SS @ ISO-3200
    Exposure bias +1.7

I framed it too tightly at the bottom - so nothing more to add down there :(

Very interesting shot due to the Ibis. Well timesd, too. If you have more space to the right of the Ibis, it might imporve the image.

Love the framing with the ibis and the outstretched feet. Wish only that the bird's right wing were not so folded....

thanks for viewing and commenting Artie, Kaustubh and Peter...

Peter I agree some space below would have improved. And yes, Artie, the right wing position is unfortunate :)
