    Haim, loved the colors, pose(good job on timing it) and that yellow eye. As you also probably know, perch not the most ideal. A vertical crop will work better if you have a tad more room on top. Increasing the ISO to stop down would have got the tail within DOF. Nice bird, BTW.

    Agree with a try at the vertical crop -- but other wise this is a beautiful bird. I like the background

    Haim you have captured the colours of the Starling very well. I like the sharpness, the look back head angle and those fine feathers showing on the left add a touch more to the image. Well captured.

    Beautiful bird. I find insightful Kaus's comments on the perch and DOF. The starling is a bit tight in the frame; a vertical crop, adding canvas if necessary, could be ideal.

    Haim, what a beautiful bird! you captured it well. Love the BG. I wish the perch would have been something more pleasing.
