    40D. 400f5.6L at f/6.3. iso 400. 1/640s. evaulative + 1 1/3

    It was incredibly windy. Not a favorite situation of mine, esp. when its cold, but the wind blew the tail feathers nicely here.

    Kaus, good behavioural pose, with good sharp focus on the head. Shovellers have most amazing yellow eyes, the same as our species here in SA. I like the pastel colour of the water.

    the water colour really has made the bird pop Kaustubh! love the pose, details and filtered light...
    maybe shave some off the LHS and top?
