A fine looking male here Ken, like the look back pose.
Do you know if the remaining two are still around?

Beautiful pose and color. Kind of like what is going on in the background. Really adds to the image.

    Marc,

We saw the last remaing brother in June 2009, he was looking very old. They gave us and many more people a wonderful experience, we were privileged to see them on many occasions.

There is a new 3 Male coalition in the Lagoon area, but I have not been there for some time.

Ken - I agree, great look back pose, and the sky is pleasant. Great to capture him using the tree as a vantage point.

lovely clarity, pose and depth here Ken...I would have liked a tad more space below and less on top, wondering if shaving a wee bit off the top would balance the compo a bit more?

I agree with Morkel, I like the stump - lots of nice detail in it the goes well with the cat. More of the and less sky to reduce prominence of tree would be good IMO.

    Good light and beautiful subject.

    Morkel and Robert,

I'll be totally honest and say that back then I had little if any real compositional ideas, just as big as possible, I would probably take something completely now. Unfortunately I have no more at the bottom.
