    Default Royal Tern Yoga

Royal Tern stretching in late evening light. I wish he had stretched the wing which was facing me.
I cleaned up two debris spots along the water’s edge.
    C&C welcome.

Not at all what I thought the bird was doing in the thumbnail...:). Nice capture, even lines in background, bird stretching, color....might have moved the bird a little right but thats just me...well done

Thanks Paul. I might have another one with the bird placed more on the right but the stretched wing is too close to the edge of the frame.

Bushan, I really like the light and warm colours, and well timed to get the wing stretch. Good low perspective too. I would move him slightly back to the right a tad.

Another vote for nudging him right. You captured the sun on his white plumage at just about the perfect moment.

Agree with moving it to the right. Also feel that the image could be a bit brighter while still capturing the mood.

Very nice low angle and capture. JR

Bhushan, terrific light, low angle, environment and pose. Loved those waves in the BG.

I also feel composition can be improved a lot. Moving the bird a bit to the right is a very good idea. Additionally, I think there is too much negative space below. Since the top part of the Bg is so good, I am wishing for more of that at the expense of the sand at the bottom.

Thanks a lot everyone for all the detail critique and comments. Now that I see it I agree with moving the bird to the right. I have a few more shots of the bird placed more to the right .
