    Photographed this Ibis low to the ground. 1/8000, F5.6, 400 ISO. I like this natural habitat shot but would love comments from you bird guru's.

    Hi Norman, fun to shoot ibis....when they ever get still.
    I like the monotoned habitat here and the low angle, could even get a bit lower.

    IMO: the ibis in bg is a bit distracting. Subject could use a bit more room on right of frame to move into.
    And I think it is still a wee bit dark.
    Tried this one and maxed the whites I think at about 242.
    What do you think?

    Hey Norman,

    There are few things you didn't notice in this image.

    There is a bird in the FG and two birds in the BG taking away from your main subject. As far as the composition goes, there is more room in the back of the bird and very little in the front. You want more room facing the bird.

    Keep them coming.
