    Stuart:

    For me, the overlap works here because the heads are in the clear. Very interesting background, just the correct amount of blur for me. Took me a second to recognize that the gray below represents other cranes.

    I might crop it a smidge tighter so that the birds are a bit larger in the frame, a bit in from left and below.

    I assume this was at Bosque?

    I agree with the previous comments and suggest that this was taken at the "railroad pond". I think it could be a bit (stop?) brighter though... JR

    Hi Stuart, nice image of this pair perfectly sharp against a great background and as noted above creates a wonderfull mood. So nice to see more birds in environment here.
