    Chris:

    Interesting pose, with good display of the aigrettes. The exposure looks good, although I might be tempted to run a very light multiple selection on the wing to see if I could tease out a bit more detail at the top.

    I like the overall image comp., might add a sliver more room above.

    Wish the perch wasn't sawn off, but it can't be helped

    Love the elegant. pose, the raised wing, the right-on exposure, and the perfect head position and angle. I wish that the wing has been raised another 1/4 inch to avoid the near-merge with the head. And I wish--as Randy mentioned--that the fallen log did not have a sawed off end....

    Log repair with a flopped Quick Mask plus some BKGR clean-up, the latter a bit splotchy for lack of pixels.
