This is a Juv Black shouldered Kite. The kids are on their own now and are doing quite well. Hope they have a wonderful life ahead.

I know the perch is not the best, but I was quite happy to get him on his natural perch at this level :).

I kept a tight crop, hope its Ok..

    spec: 1/640, F 7.1, ISO 800, +2/3

    Mk4+500mm+1.4TC

    Regards..

    Kiran.

Lovely catch, nicely presented considering the tight crop. I like the lighting, bg and exposure.

Kiranbhai, how is that eye contact. Great lookback pose, and I like the sharp feather detail. Im fine with the perch, but maybe just a little tight LLC. Killer BG.

Great bird, love it, the stare is excellent, BG fantastic, if possible just a bit more to the right in frame, otherwise not too tight.
    Love it!

Kiran nice fluffed up pose with great light and exposure shows the feather pattern well and as mentioned by all the penetrating eyes make this a superb image.Would also go for a little more room.
