    Troy, it appears you had some tough lighting to deal with. Sharpness seems good but I think the image is a bit tight. It's unfortunate that one feather overlapped with the beak. JR

    I like this very unusual pose with the intense look; must be how the orchestra sees the conductor:) Thanks for posting this one, Troy.

    JR, I forgot to mention, I shot with 600mm + 1.4TC and this is almost a full frame. I tracked it really late.

    Seperating the bill from the primary is a great improvement. I agree this is a bit of a quirky pose. I guess it's due to the angle.

    I like the angled fight pose. Were you shooting continuous - if so, hopefully you have a few with a full wingspread

    The unusual pose makes this, the light was not with you but it does not worry me.

    Love the posture and eye contact! personally I would prefer a slighly wider crop, but it is only personal preference.
