    Nice sharp focus and I love the BG, Stuart. Wonder if the bird could be brightened a bit but I am on an uncalibrated monitor at work so not sure if this is valid. Would consider moving the bird up and to the right a little in the frame. Wingtip blur is nice.

    Stuart, great shot. I believe this is shot in the afternoon light. You got it just right with not heavy shadow. Nice one.

    I agree with Troy''s point of no shadows covering the bird but like Tony I think it could be lightened a bit and cropping from the right might improve the composition. Background, sharpness and wing blur are great. JR

    A great landing pose with great background producing a dramatic image Stuart which I like very much. I would also go with taking off a bit from the right but would not lighten the bird as I think it is right for the mood of the image.
