    Gus, That background is beautiful!!!. If no photoshop, I don't know how you did the reflection, unless you just mean that you didn't process the photo other than to make the reflection??

    Guess: Flip and apply your fake water ripple tutorial to the bottom half?

    Hi Patti;

    Thanks for your kind words.

    I did it with the help of Java. If you don't have it (Nice to have it) go here. I created a Lake applet here
    captured the relection and added it to original.

    Cool eh :cool:

    Gus,

    That is VERY cool! I didn't have it. I do now. I have lots of reading to do.

    Thanks!

    Nice reflection Gus! I like the look of this image. If it were mine I would clean-up the line in the center. Well done!

    Gus, Nice artistic look to the reflection. I thought it was the Flaming Pear's Flood filter. The BG colors are gorgeous. Thanks for sharing your workflow.

    Very nice reflection, Gus. It really adds an extra dimension to the image. Lovely BG. Personally I would like to see more room on top because it looks to me like the hummingbird is rising up and that would give it room to move into. I also might add a sliver more to the left.

    Hi Gus, nice capture of the feisty little Anna's. I really like what you did with this. It looks like the flip got shifted slightly to the right in the process. This shift is not in the animated version. To make this one even stronger I would move the reflection back to the left and then use a soft blur tool on the transition so you don't see the line.

    Hi Gus, I pretty much agree with what's already been said. This is a great subject for the reflection treatment. :)

    Here's a freeware program that does something similar. I can't link directly to the file but it's called Reflet and it's in their freeware section.
