    I usually do not tend to photograph subjects form behind but in this case i think it might just about work..

    Certainly catches the eye, esp. while you are trying to figure out what you are seeing.
    Nice detail in the wings, great symmetry .

    I do think it lacks a sense of center/focal point however. Probably because we are so conditioned to looking for the head/eyes.

    Will be curious to see how it effects others.

    I applaud your thinking outside the box.

    I like it a lot Jeroen! A different perspective on the bird that you would totally miss otherwise. Nice exposure and sharpness. The crop works well.

    I think it's great. Especially sharpness, pose and composure. The lack of a head focuses my eyes on the frame provided by the wings. Love it. JR

    I like the artistic impression of this one Jeroen, the symmetrical frame of the wings and patterns and colours on them are awesome. TFS a different perspective.
