    Default Male House Finch

I really like the juxtaposition of this finch on the branch, seems to be some balance there. Would like to get your thoughts...Taken in backyard, overcast morning light.

Exposure, sharpness and background are great IMO. I think the image could benefit by cropping from the bottom... JR

A lovely image of the Finch. Love the exposure and detail as well as the eye contact. I also like how the colour of the perch compliments the colours on the bird. I would however have preferred not having the branch in front and would consider removing it if you are OK with it.

I like it overall. Just a touch more contrast (or at least darker darks), and I would eliminate the vertical twig extending to the bottom edge. I also wish for a slightly better HA. Good comp, and awesome BG!!
