Wow those claws are amazing. Wish for a bit of the bears eye in the photo but still a neat close up of the fish & the claws

    Hey Todd,
Tight comp works for me. Like Gen, I wish for some of the bear's eye in the photo to strengthen the predator/prey, last moments of life angle but I like the opposing direction of the impressive claws and the fishes head. Maybe warm up the fur only just a touch?

Todd - I wish that either the fish or the bear were angled a bit more toward you but the claw and the lone tooth shown are impressive. I like the way you thought outside the box here to make it work comp wise.

Hi Todd, very fdifficult to get stuff like this and the bears seem to know which way NOT to turn and I can sympathize in your frustration. :D

Would agree on a bit more image above, but the comp works and it illustrates well what is happening, especially with those claws. I might just add a bit more in curves & contrast just to give it a bit more punch, perhaps just over the bear?

Agree with your self critique here Todd, still, the raised paw, dripping coat and droplets are still enough to hold interest.

To my eye, the image here is the bear's impressive claws seconded by the visible yellow tooth. I'm wondering if you might consider a crop that emphasizes those elements? The bear and fishes head being angled away don't work for me.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Steve, will give it a go on the suggestion. Grace, will take a look @ a tighter crop as well.
    Thanks again.

Todd, I like the crop as is, and good show of the claws. It looks like he's kissing the salmon, as a last right before he tucks in.
