    Default Winter River Blur

Much shoveling of snow lately. About 2 feet or so on the ground so far. Here is a winter river blur from a couple of years ago shot on the Muskoka River near Bracebridge, Ontario. It is one of the coolest ice formations I have found - thought I would share it for the weekly theme.

If anybody needs some extra snow for this week's theme let me know. I am running out of places to shovel it! :)

    Look forward to comments.

Beautiful scene. I like the color cast and think it adds to the chill.:) I love that little bit of ice in the LRC or I would suggest a slice off the bottom. Very nice Andrew. You have some lovely scenes.

Andrew, brrrrrr! I can't say I miss this sight, but this sure is a nice capture. I love the ice and moving water and the color just shouts cold... I think the icicles in the LRC are a good anchor.

You guys at that end of Ontario, always complain and whine (joking) about the snow (you'd think you lived in Toronto)....lololol...better you than us :).

Lovely image, water, icicles. Very well done

Love the softening effect of all the blur of the moving water!

Too cold for me! You are already running out of places to put the snow? Doesn't sound good.

Nice image. I like the river blur, which for me is the focus of the image. I would crop some off the bottom.

    Nice image and application.

I'll let the others bid on the snow offer. I've lived with enough of that stuff for my lifetime and the temps that go with it!!

Like the colors and patterns of this though, even though the image theme is not my favorite! :o :D Nicely done.

You can keep the snow, Paul! I'm not ready for that yet!

Lovely scene. The water area looks like the open mouth of some ice monster! Love the "cold blue" color cast.

Thanks to everyone for the comments, very much appreciated.

Paul, as you know, if Toronto had this much snow they'd declare it an emergency and call in the military again. LOL :)

Beautiful winter scene. I like the blue cast and the icicles and nice blur on the water.
