    Captured this buck at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal. Contacted the Division of Wildlife to see what is going on with the ears. Thanks for looking.

    Nice rack on this guy, would be interested to here what the DOW has to say on the ears. I have never seen this before. Nice pose, other than those ears he looks to be a beautiful buck! Nice light, exposure and sharpness.

    Nice and sharp image. I have seen pictures of bucks that have been hurt fighting with their ears drooped like

    this. This buck's rack is broken up and he has some kind of damage to his neck.

    Dan - nice head on shot oif the buck. I would be tempted to crop or clone out the one end of the bright grass coming in from the left where only the tip is showing.

    Interesting behaviour on the ears. Good head on shot, and I like the antlers. Overall, nice and sharp too.

    With the exception of the ears this seems to be a pretty stout, healthy looking deer. Bg is great. I've got over 800 images of these deer in my files and I've never seen one with ears like this. Keep us posted if you get an answer.
