    Eurasian Oystercatcher
    Very shy for the location they found in our state and so this is my first descent shot made out of :
    1D Mark IV, 500 F/4, 1.4 TC
    1/2500, f/8, ISO 400 @ 700mm
    Nov 13, 2010, 9:41am

    this is not full frame but a crop as the distance they maintain at the beach is just too much for us to get it in. hope one day can make out nice full frame image of this beautiful birds.

    was playing with histo and found the image still have room for better contrast keeping white and enhancing black's ..

    did i ran well here ?

    in this format the whites actually look blown in your repost, though I'm sure that's not the case with the original.

    Hi Mital,

    I agree with you our Oystercatchers are just as shy. You have captured an excellent image with good detail and a wonderful flying pose with the colours showing up well against the blue sea. I prefer your first post. TFS

    I like the whole composition Mital the colors and detail are awesome.
