Got this moment of a Montagus Harrier female choking while trying to feed on a grasshopper.

I laughed for a while, also felt sad for the poor thing, but finally all went down well.

    Thanks for looking..

    Kiran,

So sharp as to appear that I'm looking at it out the window on my deck rail. The eye is extra special on this one and I like the way it is clinging to the little mound. Scruffy tail on this fella and a messy eater as well. Beautiful bokeh, by the way. No suggestions for improvement. You might hear something about the vicinity of the tail to the edge of the frame but I find it perfectly acceptable. Thanks for a great shot, my friend.

Kiran, the light and background are just beautiful here and of course the cool behavior is a bonus as well.

Kiran, what a pose! Awesome shot. Perfect angle and BG. Will a tad more room at top make it better?

Another image with brilliant IQ Kiranbhai. Well timed to capture the moment, and I like light, detail colours and sharpness. An opportunity well used.

    Hi Kiran,

A beauty, I just marvel at the light that you get in your images. Interesting behaviour captured with good colour, clarity and background.TFS.

The fundamentals are strong, and then there's the behavior. Excellent; congratulations. There could be other ways to handle the placement of the bird in the frame.

Excellent shot! I like the composition as is - placement within the frame looks good to my eye. Beautiful behavioral shot. The eye really stands out.

Another Kiran signature image, your raptor images are inspiring - light, focus, background all top notch. Can I jump on the plane with Doug?
