Rare bird sighting in Arizona

A Baikal Teal has been photographed at the Gilbert Water Ranch in Arizona. According to one source there has only been two sightings of this Siberian duick in the lower 48. The teal was first discovered Dec 2 and is drawing birders to the the water ranch to record this very rare sighting.

I managed to be there while this bird was around. The place was heaving with birders! Unfortunately this fella was a little out of reach for my 300mm, but I was happy to have made any shot at all!
