    This is a northern harrier not a hawk, nice pose but looks like a huge crop.

    Default Bosque Diurnal Raptor

    Thanks Troy. I was on the north end photographing snows and sandhills and caught a glimpse of the Harrier out of the corner of my eye. He didn't stay around long.

    Dan- Not so huge... here's the original. I processed the first one on my Macbook. Maybe something got lost there. Cropping was necessary for composition.
