Not sure what's happening when I post but the highlights look great in lightroom so I'll have to get more profecient with my PS techniques

A great moment you captured here. Love the colors and expression on the fox.
The dark corners give an impression of vignetting, but that's not necessarily bad, sort of frames the action.
If size and IQ allows for it you might try a closer crop to add some emphasis on the mouse (vole?).

BTW, what was the final outcome?

Another sweet image Gen. Highlights are better in this one but could come down a bit more IMHO. Great poses on both of them with good sharpness. Have been enjoying the sequence.

Great light and color and the interaction really tells a story!

    Hey Gen,

This is super, love the pose and interaction. Not a big fan of the vignette.

    Best and Happy Holidays,

Thanks Chas, I just learned the vignette in Lightroom so perhaps I've over done it. This was a wonderful opportunity that I feel fortunate to have captured and witnessed.

I really like this one - interaction and colours are perfect and I also like the title you've given it. Big smile. I would like to see it without the vignette ... it does frame the action but not sure if it needs it in this case and it darkens the the grass and, more importantly, the vole(?) applied like this.

    Gen,

Enjoying the series - quite a unique situation. I agree with chase about the vignetting.
