    Scott:

    I like how the rays of vegetation match match the plumage on the GBH.
    Good shooting angle, the lores look great.

    The sky looks a bit too electric blue for my taste.
    Although I really like the vegetation in the image, I wish it didn't overlap the front bird quite so much.

    The light was fairly harsh, so pretty high contrast here.

    You must have been shooting through a little greenery to give the slight haze to the foreground.

    Ditto Randy. You've managed the exposure well despite the strong light. Perhaps a bit tight and I am thinking there may have been some other distractions had you cropped wider, but I think you could add above (and a bit on each side to retain ratio) if you have it. Love the tropical feel with the palm leaves.
