Anyone that frequents the macro forum knows that I have been posting a series of 'leaf on water' shots. Of course I had tons of rejects from those shoots....OOF leaf, bad leaf position etc. but on some of them, the water patterns and/or reflections were just too good to waste. Thank heaven there's the OOTB forum! :D

NR, levels, saturation, contrast....but at slightly higher settings that normal. A small amount of surface blur.

Ken, Wonderful colors and flow! How much of the full frame is this? I think the vertical comp works well- it really pulls you into the image.:)

    Thanks, Denise!

This represents only about 20% of the original frame.

Beautiful abstract, Ken. Very relaxing. I like the gradual blurring from bottom to top. Well done!

Love the colors Ken! You got some beautiful patterns going here with lots of great motion. For me, the top half is almost too OOF - if this weren't such a bit crop I'd say use the bottom half only as a horizontal and call it good.

I know what you mean about all the rejects...it's amazing how one little thing can totally wreck these water images!

Very peaceful image. I like the colors and abstract look. Glad you kept it! I do like the gradient blur in the capture.

Lovely colors and lines and motion. The center of the image is especially fascinating. I was thinking the upper right needed to be lighter or the lower left darker.

I don't have anything new to add, but did want to mention that I also like the colors and pattern you were able to capture.
