    Default Sandhill Sunrise Trio

    Here is another image from Jasper-Pulaski (November 2010):

    1DM4, 500mm f4L, AV mode, f 6.3, 0 EV, ISO 640, 1/5000, tripod.. this was taken from the observation deck (for those who are familiar with the location).

    A nice family grouping here. Sharp, well exposed, good DOF to cover all three.

    That tight grouping also makes the merges a challenge, and in a perfect world I would prefer the heads at least to be clear of the other birds.

    The color of the birds is a bit browner than I would expect. Was this early or late in the day? I would guess not to early based on the location of the shadows(which are kind of neat by the way)

    thats beautiful image showing group and i think the juvie getting trained by couple above :) loved the frame. if this were mine i would do Levels : Red : 243, Green : 237, Blue : 246. and the magenta cast will be gone off.
