    Default CT Fork-Tailed Flycatcher

ISO 640 F8 1/250 600MM WITH 2X 1DMKII Lucky this guy showed up less than 2 miles from my house-haven't been in the field lately so this was timely! Tailed was steadying him in the wind.

    Doug:

Very interesting fellow, sharp, well exposed, great tail.
Like the curve of the tail, curve of perch.

In a perfect world, would prefer the perch at top not overlap him. I might consider a small crop from the top to downplay the upper extension of the perch. His long tail does limit cropping options below of course.

    Cheers

    Randy

We don't get to see many images of this species, so thanks for sharing! Good sharpness and a nice exposure. I like how the perch mimics the tail feathers, although I agree with Randy about the overlap. I also would consider cropping a little of the top as Randy suggested.
