    Default Bufflehead

Went to Oka Ponds in Campbell CA during a heavy overcast, cloudy day. Most of my shots came out practically black and white. There was literally no sunlight so everything you see here was introduced (boosted) and heavily processed. Any critiques would be greatly appreciated!

I'm not seeing it on either Firefox or Safari on my Mac. But I do see the image when I pull up the link from your website.

I'm so confused. I've done this before successfully. I'm not sure why this is not coming out on the site. Hmm.... I linked the image alright if you can see it on my webpage. Strange.

That is a fine-looking drake butter pat, Conrad, heavily-processd or not. He's got those neat upturned feathers back where the wings meet the body and the tail is flared nicely. The background is a nice rusty color that I like. I've never got a close shot of a bufflehead and I'm looking forward to it. Nice job.

    Hi Conrad,

Lovely flight shot, like the spread tail and wing position. Well done with the light conditions and processing.
