No critiques here! - lovely image.

You might want to crop a bit off the sides so as to emphasize the subjects and maybe tone down the highlights somewhat, however you've captured a great moment.

    Thanks for sharing

I love it. I also want to know what happened next? I agree a tighter crop might emphasis the moment a little. Nice work Gen!!

Great catch Gen. Love the "story" being told. Might tone it down a bit , as mentioned.

    Hi Gen,

An absolutely beautiful image with some great interaction going on. I knew I was going to love this one when I saw the thumbnail and the title. I would be so giddy to get a fox in great light with a little mouse or vole looking up at it. I think I know how this story ends.....no need to follow up on that......unless you have a shot of him throwing it up in the air; now that would be cool. Thanks for an awesome shot.

P.S. I'd trim a little from the left side to make it even more awesome. Just a thought.

This is what I would call "capturing the moment", I am wondering if you have the IQ to do a rather subsantial crop something like this? The limits imposed by the size of your JPEG mean that I cannot make it any larger.

    Fabulous shot

Great Gen, superb timing, love the interaction, perfect capture.

Would agree on cropping some from the lhs.

Nice moment captured, agree with toning down the highlights a bit as well as a bit off the left.

this is such a great shot! story, drama, suspense, killer light and overall stupendousness :)

I agree cropping a tad tighter will work - although Ken's portrait crop doesn't really do it for me :) (sorry Ken ;)) I like the view and pose of the whole fox you have in the OP...so just a tad tighter from the left should do

Love the interaction here in great light Gen.
Have toned down the highlights here using a luminosity mask in CS5.

Oh, this one's even better than the first I commented on. I go along with the left crop and tone down suggestions, and the feeling that this is pretty special.
