Roy, this is a beauty! You got some awesome light here and the bird's pose and position is lovely. I am wondering if your color is a bit on the blue side, though, as the body of the bird and the greens of the plant both seem a bit blue. ???

I don't usually like super close crops but you've got a large OOF branch on the left and only a sliver of a branch on the right so I recropped to give you some food for thought...yours works as more of an environmental image - I think this crop works to show off the bird a bit more.

Really beautiful image here...just check that color balance!

    Dandy looking bird.

I like Jules's crop as it really sets the nice bird up.

If mine I would also remove the couple of leaves under the tail.

Interesting setting at ISO250 and 1/60th sec.

I really like the look of the bird.

I too like this image and pose. The only thing I would try is to desat the pink/red above the bird. I really like the oof branch in the background, the to me, the red spot at the top is pulling my eye from the lovely soft colored bird.

Roy, I may have upped my ISO. Still nice sharpness. I wish the bird were angled towards us a bit more. Nice perch but the BG appears a bit busy.
