These kind of sightings are what it's all about. Very low light at end of day, oh how I wished to have a D3s. Wil on doubt do something with the oof branch @ left before I print. He's got a different twist to the right side of his rack, I believe usually caused from injury during antler development.

Thanks for looking, comments and critiques appreciated.

Wow...I like it. Just need to crop the image to exclude the branch as you mentioned and maybe even a bit off the top and bottom. A great capture in less than ideal lighting.
Hi Todd, nice moment! Although the angle of the photo may represent reality corrrectly, I feel like your image would be stronger with some clockwise rotation. Have you tried a version that way? The slight crop that would need could also help by cutting off a bit of your OOF foreground.
What a beautiful scene which will no doubt become even stronger when that oof branch has gone. The reflection is lovely and the animal himself is magnificent.
gorgeous colours, semi-reflection and all-round scene Todd. agree on the OOF branch - my gut feel is to go pano crop here and crop out the branch I hope you don't mind - but here's my take on it?
Thanks Morkel and Harshad. The pano crop removes the branch but I think loses to much of the scene. I think I will remove the oof branch rather than crop tighter.
Thanks for the feedback.
