    Hey Chas, I love this type of image (and I like lemonade too!) Beautiful starbusrt around the sun.

    Can you explain the advantage of using liveview in this situation? Was it to help you keep an eye out for incoming birds without looking through the viewfinder? I'm open to new ideas and this one intrigues me...

    One tremendous advantage would be the reduced risk of retinal damage due to reduced UV exposure.

    Would you elaborate about the "spot off crane " ? What crane, where ?
