    Hi Folk;

    I'm always surprised what comes from the figments of my imagination when stirred around gently until it's jelled. This time it was a Mourning Dove Portrait created in CS5.

    Comments always welcome to enrich my learning experiences. :)

    Gus, The tight framing looks even tighter with the addition of the border, maybe too tight. Let's see what others say. There are a couple of straight lines on the lower edge that catch my eye. Nice sharp details and the colors are rich.:)

    Hi Gus, I agree - my first thought was "too tight". Cute bird! Light was a bit contrasty on this one.

    Gus,

    Agree with the others.. The eye though, is flat black with no catch light and looks empty. I would paint some kind of catch light in...................

    :):) Gus, I've heard of chocolate Easter bunnies, but chocolate doves? Cute.

    Nice up-close portrait, Gus, though I have to agree with the others that it looks a bit too tight. I also agree with Jay on the eye. Very nice colors.
