Need current info on Merritt Island... Birds??

I'm curious of any of you folks have been to Merritt Island NWR since the colder weather moved in. I'm considering heading down there in a few days but I'd like to know if there are many birds there right now. The last info I have is about 2 weeks old and there were lots of birds then. Any info and/or other help would be apprecaited.

I was just there 2 weeks ago.
The water level was very low and there is a drought according to the NWS. I found the bird life sparse compared with previous visits. I flew from NY just for the visit to Merritt NWR. I still enjoyed my visit because I love being behind the camera but the yield was very low. I took the pics which are viewable here.
