    Default Wood Duck Flight

This is as good a Wood Duck flight image as I've ever gotten. It was taken on a beautiful late fall (or was it early winter?) afternoon last month. The water droplets give the image a little something extra.

    Doug:

It is a very fine woodie image, flying to boot.
You have shown the full color palatte, with browns,, purples, red, orange and greens and in particular a fine display of the speculum's blues.

Sharp. Also like how the blues in the water play off the blues on the bird.

I am at my backup work monitor, so color accuracy not good, but at least on this monitor, I would say the overall white balance is just a bit cool. Please take with grain of salt because of the monitor I am using.

    Well done.

    Randy

Doug, Fantastic flight angle and wing position, and you have nailed the sharpness. I cant remember seeing an inflight image of one of these guys, and this shows off the colours very well. Separated from the water BG nicely. Great capture.

    Default Very nice Doug,

Like Randy said, you have captured every color a Wood Duck has.
The slight angle towards the camera tops it off.

    Cheers,

Amazing range of colors (including some I didn't know he had), perfect flight angle and wing position. Great capture of a fast-flying bird.

The most beautiful duck and you nailed it. As mentioned you have all the colors showing perfectly. The angle of capture could not of been better.... You know I wished this was mine:) As always great stuff.

Wow Doug what a beautiful rainbow of colours. Never seen an image of one of these in flight. Echo the comments above and like the way the blues in the water compliment the blues on the bird. Excellent image.

You are right, Doug. It doesn't get any better and the water drops make it extra special. TFS
