    Last Ring-billed Gull post (at least for now :)). I would have normally cropped in tighter to the bird, but I liked the background on this one. C&C appreciated.

    Sharp enough, and the BKGR is interesting. The bird looks a bit dark and muddy with a blue cast... The spread tail looks great.

    Artie, thanks for looking. A question: perhaps you could advise how you would set the white point on this image. I set the white point on the bird's forehead, which reads R236-G236-B235.

    I wasn't sold on the BG at first, but after studying it it grew on me and I love it:cool: I like the angling pose. Bring your photo up in PS, and go to hue/saturation. Now completely desaturate the blue channel and check out the pleasing "gull" grey emerge...
