    Joel, I love the colors and the texture. Maybe a tiny bit tight on the bottom. I like your letters but I must admit I have no idea what they say. I'm wondering if a black border would make this more Asian feeling. Nice work.:)

    Welcome to the party Joel! I agree with Denise re adding to the bottom. A black border would be nice too. I also would probably reduce the size of the calligraphy font and maybe move it to the right a little (although I really like the overall balance here!). No chop? I might also reduce the texture on the bird a bit.

    Joel, a beautiful composition with nice colors. I agree with Dan about reducing the texture on the bird.

    I'm also with the others - too tight at the bottom and the bird needs to come through just a bit more. I love the composition and layout though...very nice balance...very zenful and yet cheery.

    Sweet image! I loved the original, but the repost is even better. The colors are wonderful and I love the balance of the bird and the berries.
