My wife Linda is a member of the Board of Doberman Pinscher Rescue of Pennsylvania. Occasionally, she is asked to foster a dog for a period of time. Her most recent opportunity to foster occurred recently, when she brought a new puppy named Ruby to our home.
Ruby is a "blue" dobie who is about six months old. And as the attached image captured today with our new Nikon D7000 shows, she is beautiful.
Working with Ruby, and looking into her eyes, we were immediately captivated by her. So what was intended to be a foster home has become a welcome, permanent home for Ruby.
One final comment about Ruby. Because she is a pup, she has all of the mischievous tendencies you have to guard against. I learned that when setting up breakfast the other day, after I had put two cherry turnovers on the table. Soon, Ruby had her front paws on the table and had seized one of the turnovers.
The turnover was relatively large and she is still a relatively small dobie, but it was no contest!
