Gave a four different trial till i get what i desired for this image.

Actually i liked the color tones here with plain water low level image and though to gave a feel of water color painting and ended up with this.

Did applied so many layers multiply, Scree, Softlight with many topaz clean, fractalius, FotoSketcher and onONe Photo Frame including few of the photoshop inbuilt filters.

hope you like it. feel free to share suggestions

I love the pose of your shoveler. Nice colors and it does look like a painting. I do like how you kept the reflection of the water to add a bit of realism to the image. Nice work Mital!!:)

Very painterly feel to it. Agree with Denise the pose and colors are first rate. Beautiful work. The reflection adds so much interest.

Mital, this is so beautiful! You really brought out some great textural patterns in the feathers. I wouldn't mind seeing a hint more saturation in the green on his head - that feels a little bit faded compared to the rest of the lively colors. The blues are to die for! Wonderful image - so cheerful and playful!

Very beautiful Mital. It works nicely as a painting.

What a pose and the painting look is killer. It looks like a water color. The only thing that bugs me is that the head is angled slightly away from us. But the soft look is too, too sweet. I like the duck a bit better than the water....

Beautiful, Mital! Lovely colors, the painted look is superb, and the raised wing takes it over the top! :)

Hate to be repititious, but that pose and the colors are incredible.
