This is an image of one of our resident Sandhills, that frequents our backyard. It is relatively tame, but wild and free, and comes to us, rather than us trying to go to it.

Modifications in CS4 included; B&W, Selective color for toning, Topaz Detail, Topaz Infocus, texture layer that I created for the image, which also created the matt and frame texture, I painted in the head colors, and other normal PS image adjustments.

    Enjoy!

Time is scares right now so I have been coming and running. Hope to get back to normal after the new year. Will try to keep my posting coming, but not sure how frequently. Its the season and many other matter to get through. :o :D

Mark, I like the simple image design. I might go a little larger w/ the chop and letters if it were mine but let's wait and see if Dan chimes in.:) I also might give it a tiny bit more room up top. I like the texture in the BG.

Very nice, Mark. I like the pose and sketch look. The bit of red on top of the bird's head is a nice touch. I agree with making the chop and calligraphy larger.

Mark, I like the simplicity of the image with the added touch of red. I'd like to see just a little more room on top and have the chop a little less bright red.

No comment from me on the chop color :)

I love the background texture here and you are the frame master! I really like this frame a lot.

Very good Mark! I agree that a little more room on top would be an improvement. I am ok with the font size, but I would move the symbols up (if you add canvas!) and I also would dull the red of the chop, as it seems too bright, almost neon! Hope you have time!

Thanks all for viewing and comments. Appreciate it.

Unable to update the image at this time, as I have been working with our web designer on finishing the first edition of our web site, soon to be launched. I just sent him the final text edits and once he is done it will be up and going. Probably later this week.

Also going through the old Christmas card/gift images rush time. Due to the site launch I am sending more cards than normal to long lost friends and relatives, thus more work! But it is fun and as it only comes once a year, I'll survive! ; > )
